About us

Committee

Our committee (main team) meets half-termly to plan, organise and discuss events. 

Our team includes a chair, vice chair, secretary, treasurer and 2 trustees as well as some dedicated committee members. 

We liaise with school staff, partner companies, marketing and accounts team to advertise and budget accordingly. We vote on important decisions to do with funding/spending allocations. We allocate roles and responsibilities to help events run smoothly. 

Volunteer Team (events team - ad-hoc support) 

Jobs include:

Welcoming people and giving directions at events such as BBQs, Christmas Fayres and more.

Taking payments on stalls or at the bar / refreshment stations. 

Overseeing a soft-play activity (e.g. bouncy castle). Setting up / setting down before and after events. 

Marketing Team 

This team generally don't attend meetings - the option is there! 

Jobs include: Designing (Canva) and sharing posts to advertise our events on social media.

Overseeing a particular area of advertising (e.g. school lottery results, OPAL donations etc).

Liaising with the School Office over adverts for the Friday Flyer (weekly email update sent to all parents). 

Gaining sponsorship for events.
